What kinds of roles does Atsali place, and where?

We're headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA and work with clients nationally, including in California, Florida, North Carolina, Indiana, and across the country. We place senior-level accounting, finance, and HR roles and work nationally with organizations ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 companies, so the right opportunity could come from anywhere.
I’m not actively looking — why should I talk to a recruiter?

Because the best opportunities rarely show up on job boards. Many of the professionals we represent aren’t actively applying, they’re high performers thriving in their current roles who trust us to bring them opportunities worth considering.
A 15-minute conversation costs nothing, stays completely confidential, and at minimum gives you a clearer sense of what your skills are worth in today’s market. Most of the people we’ve placed weren’t job searching when we first reached out.
How is Atsali Search different from a large staffing agency?

We’re a two person team! Large agencies assign your search to a generalist recruiter and manage volume across hundreds of open roles. At Atsali, every search is handled personally by Jason or Kelly — recruiters with over 10 years of hands-on experience.
Does it cost candidates anything to work with Atsali?

No. Our fees are paid entirely by the hiring company. There is never a cost to you for being represented, interviewed, or placed. And one warning worth giving: if a recruiter ever asks you to pay them for placement, premium access, resume services, anything - run. That is a Saul Goodman situation, not a legitimate firm.
What's the difference between a recruiter and a headhunter?

Nothing, they're the same thing. "Headhunter" is an informal term for a recruiter who proactively seeks out candidates rather than waiting for people to apply. At Atsali Search, every search works this way. We don't post a job and wait. We go find the right person, sometimes one who isn't actively looking but is open to the right opportunity. That's what separates a specialist search firm from a job board.
How do you decide which roles to send my way?

Through a real conversation, not by matching keywords on a resume. Before we ever put a role in front of you, we have an in-depth call to understand what you’ve done, what you’re good at, what you actually want next, and what would make you say no to an opportunity. We’re not a resume mill blasting candidates at every open job, the targeting we do upfront is what separates a genuine fit from a waste of your time.
